Logline

A disoriented man awakens in an unfamiliar forest, his memory shattered, his identity erased. As he struggles through the wilderness, fractured glimpses of a forgotten life emerge—echoes of faces, places, and moments he cannot place. This haunting, nonlinear journey mirrors the fragmented texture of memory itself, constructing a hypnotic visual mosiac exploring the boundaries of artificial consciousness, time, perception, and the elusive search for self.

Synopsis

Lost in the suffocating silence of an ancient forest, a nameless protagonist stumbles through the undergrowth, his mind a labyrinth of broken recollections. Fleeting images, corrupted data fragments, audio files of memories, panic, the meshes of unprocessed trauma flash before him like a deteriorating system hallucination, blurring the partition between virtual environment and a past just out of reach.

This experimental short film immerses the audience in the protagonist’s disintegrating psyche, deploying a visceral, nonlinear multi-layered narrative structure to replicate the discursive language and chaotic nature of memory. Through striking visual juxtapositions and an evocative soundscape, the film blurs the line between reality, hallucination, and repressed trauma, pulling the viewer deeper into the mystery of his identity and a forgotten history of the human condition.

As the protagonist pieces together scattered clues both within and beyond the forest the film gradually unveils a deeper, unsettling truth about history, loss, and the fragile constructs of human consciousness. A meditation on the architecture and intricate traces of reality that binds us to our own stories, this is a poetic exploration of what remains when everything else is forgotten.
